Alloys with copper minimum of 50% and main zinc addition. Usually have zinc contents among 5 and 46% and until 3% of lead to enhance its mechanization by take-off of shaving. They can also to carry other elements as aluminium, tin, silicon, iron or manganese to obtain special properties.
